Mirror
I looked in the mirror for the first time
In years
I surveyed my face
Aged, tired, still supple
Every wrinkle told a story
I picked the jar of cream up
Read the label
Opened it
Applied the cream to my face
Carefully
First time
In years
I liked what I saw
I liked what I felt
I felt me again
I felt good
