A home in my head – BOOK SELECTION by Karen Mason

posted in: Poetry 2012 | 0

A home in my head

where I am myself

and warmly welcomed.

Creative thoughts play

in lamp light puddles

and settle serene.

I gaze from the calm,

through clear glass,

to bright prospects

and circle friendship’s glow

in supportive caravan.

Jokes flicker forth

and laughter twinkles back.

I’m relaxed.

I’m alive.

Nourished and cherished

by my home in my head.

Karen collects a handmade hardback book
