The 1st college music project with Peterborough Regional College and Leicester College.
Both Colleges wrote the project in to their curriculum producing songs in composition lessons using a winning poem from the yellow book to create the lyrics.
Artists chosen to represent the colleges joined us at the Guildhall in Leicester for a sing off to decide who would become the next rethinkyourmind music artist and feature on #TheAudioYellowBook. The event was an enrichment day featuring talks and questions with industry professionals including Mark Morriss of The Bluetones, BBC Radio 2 Folk award winning artist Lucy Ward and Bob Geldofs tour managers.
Tara Pasveer of Peterborough Regional College was chosen as the overall winner and produced this song for the project
Tara then came to Abbey Road studios to sing lead lines on the #IFeelBetterWhen single along with Leicester College Finalist Ben Morris who sang in the 150 strong choir.
