I feel grateful when I wake up
hear the birds chirping, singing a song
My heart goes thump, thump, thump
it’s a new day
I feel grateful when I come to school
hear the parents saying bye to their kids
Hearing the moans and groans of the kids
When I get into class nice and calm
I see my friends and have a chat
I am happy
Five hours of learning ahead!
