So, it’s helpful to know what works for you because relaxation is very healing to the body. How ever you choose to relax, invite all your SENSES to take part in the relaxation experience… Practice – having a bath… SEE the bath tub itself and watch the water cascading into the tub. The bubbles forming and disappearing as the water merges to fill the bath. FEEL the warmth/coolness of the water. Feel the water caressing your skin. LISTEN to the sound of the water filling the bath. The gentle splashes against your skin. SMELL the freshness of the water. Inhale the perfume from the scent added into the bath as your body lowers into the bath tub. TASTE the air. What do you notice? 23
