Music has a powerful wellbeing quality that is felt by everyone. There is so much evidence for its therapeutic qualities and its ability to reach those who are living with dementia and other mental health diagnoses. The ‘rethinkyourmind’ team are all music lovers and performers and it’s important to us that music be included as part of the creativity of this project.
So, each year, we invite music artists to write music and lyrics from the project entries and create a ‘rethinkyourmind’ CD album of songs and spoken word poems, featuring artwork selected to be single and album covers.
We are delighted to confirm that Mark Morriss, Lucy Ward and Refuge will be joining us again in 2017. The fourth slot is for an up & coming artist and this time, we will be offering this slot to college students find out more by clicking here…
