Be inspired to CREATE, by the project music single: #SoundsInspired, featuring: Mark Morriss of The Bluetones, Refuge, Lucy Ward, Kitten Pyramid, The Maias and Barkhaus…
Once uploaded, not only will your artwork or photographs be featured on the online galleries but also, as part of the national competition, they will be considered for the cover for the single!
‘The UoN Physics & Astronomy Yellow Book’ will be published later this year – both in a Flipbook and hard copy version. This Book will showcase 30 ‘Selected Entries’ from the University gallery alongside Wellbeing practices and Signposts to support.
The project song will also feature on #TheAudioYellowBook a digital version of this wellbeing resource, providing simple tools, practices, spoken word and music with the aim to help empower people in maintaining their health – the University edition will also showcase cover artwork selected from the University gallery.

This introduction video was created for the project by the fantastic James Douglas Films – it’s an opportunity to meet the rethinkyourmind team and to hear more about the project and its roots in mental health challenges and recovery. The Yellow Book is centred around creativity and expression as a way to stay well The inspirational artwork pieces are combined with mindful reminders to stay present and signposting to trusted, national organisations. This combined approach is what makes The Yellow Book an empowering and uplifting wellbeing resource.
Please ensure you sign up with your University email address or add the word Nottingham to the ‘city of residence’ field when uploading so that your entries are displayed in both the University of Nottingham and the national online galleries.
